Heat
It is hot everywhere so be kind, as we all know crime increases as temperatures rise, they really do, ask the cop eating a doughnut next time your in a coffee shop. Seriously, be kind and know that everyone is dealing with the heat, some more than others, some can not afford to down the air and some might not have AC, we are so spoiled in this GREAT country. Remember, you will be judged in the end, and He knows all.

Ignorance
There is no cure or remedy, treatment or medication for “Ignorance and Stupidity”, thinking and even more so speaking out loud that events like 911, the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School and most significantly The Holocaust did not occur is just showing all that you fall under one or both of these two classifications.

Gun Control
I support the Second Amendment but it gives us the right to bear arms, not the right for each and every one of us to carry assault weapons and kill our brothers and sister. Change the age to purchase any weapon to 21, and if parents buy their children a weapon of any type then they can be held accountable. Any person purchasing any style of assault weapon or automatic weapon should have to have a full background check performed. If you have anything other than an honorable discharge from the military, the reason should be of public record. Private sales should have to be reported to the Federal Government and should have to abide by all state and federal laws. Many politicians say that having stricter gun laws will not change anything, I ask, then, why do countries with strict gun laws have less gun crimes? Any felony that includes the use of a fire arm should prohibit that person from ever owning a firearm again, and is reason enough to search a motor vehicle when pulled over for a legitimate reason.

Hell in a Hand Basket
Ever wonder how a country as great as ours gets in the mess it is in right now. Well I have a few people I think we can blame for spreading all the hate and evil that is in abundance right now in our great country. Donald Trump can not open his mouth without saying something bad about someone, and people still support him and put him on a pedestal. We have senators and congressmen that can do nothing but show their ignorance and stupidity every time they speak. Our highest court has become a religious and judgmental board of people, no longer looking only for the legal and constructional meaning of laws. The true book of judgement tells us to leave the judging of others to God, lets try that, you do not have to agree with what others believe or do, but you can still get along and be civil with them and not create a hating nation.
On a positive note I hope all enjoyed their 4th of July and actually thought about what it stands for today.

Love
We should love others as we love ourselves. Help others as we would appreciate help when we are in need. I think it was WC Fields that said “To keep a man down in the gutter, you must get down there with him.” Much easier to reach down and pull the man up on solid ground.

Supporting Friends
When someone is in trouble and they are a friend or someone you support, that is when you think about changing the rules. Why can’t politicians “Balls Up” and go in and help Ukraine, it appears most the world thinks they are being wronged, yet rules or agreements prevent the world from really helping. Putin needs to be put in his place, he is wrong and out of line, breaking all rules of humanity, and yet we sit on our hands as a country. Our politicians should be ashamed, we sit here bad mouthing opponents of the other party and let this atrocity carry forward.

Thinking
This is something we as Americans should do before we act or speak, and our politicians damn sure should do this. God Bless America, many of us use His name and yet we feel that we are more deserving or better than others, that is not what He teaches us. When your neighbor needs help, reach out a hand and help him.
